VW Golf Rear Body Brace of Glory

Designed, developed and manufactured entirely in Australia with locally sourced materials.

Stiffens up the inherently flexible rear hatch area of the car while looking good. Made from steel for its superior stiffness properties. Material is located to efficiently battle forces in transverse directions. Precision laser cut steel plate is TIG welded to lightweight round hollow steel tube to gives a combination of strength and stiffness with minimal weight (Less than 3.3kg).

Greatly reduced rear body flex/movement between the rear strut tower areas of the vehicle:

• Allows the vehicle suspension to more precisely articulate which improves driver feel, control and can provide better grip via consistent predictability
• Reduces body twist about the vehicle longitudinal axis
• Reduces creaking noises and fatigue to vehicle body caused by uneven surfaces and excessive movement

Features:

• Rear seats fold, lock and child seat anchorage point functions not effected at all
• Cargo space is not reduced, objects can still be placed through and on brace
• Easy installation with no special tools required (less than 20 mins)
• No trimming of vehicle interior plastics/trims required
